Camera Assistant

I finished my associates degree in film and video at Orange Coast College, California. During my last year of college I started an internship in post production at MacGillavray Freeman Films, an IMAX nature documentary company. After working there and getting to know the industry for 4 years I decided I wanted to continue in the Camera department. 

I started off getting some 2nd-ing experience in LA and then moved home to Holland, which is where I grew up. There I continued in the camera department, including some 1st / focus pulling gigs.

After traveling through Peru and Siri Lanka I started a working holliday visa in Australia. There I mainly traveled, did local harvest work and had the pleasure of working on some great projects with local DP Stefan José. Now I am back in Holland looking to find some great projects I can be a part of and meet new people in the industry.

Ever since I got my first 35mm camera from my grandpa I have been taking pictures. I love to travel, surf and most of all spend time outdoors. Nature photography is what I have grown most interested in. Therefore I always bring my camera to make sure I can capture the local wildlife.
